Chart of sadness

17st 12lb - 250lb About time too!

Well that was one heck of a long plateau period. It has been a bit of a misery to be honest. I don't think it is all my fault though even though a tiny bit of diet dodging was going on I.e my moms birthday and a day trip out with the family that ended up with a bottle of wine being drunk. I was still even with all that averaging around 1700 calories per day. Hopefully this is the start of another period of weight loss.

Still the same as Saturday.

I have had a bit of an up and down weekend really. Sunday was my Mother's birthday and the family were invited over for a rib of beef dinner. To say it had all the trimmings was an understatement that coupled with the cheese board and birthday cake managed to add nearly two pounds in weight to my porky body when I weighed myself yesterday. Today though I have reverted back to my pre feasting weight of 18st so I guess I can't complain to much. I am very much looking forward to breaking the 18st barrier though, and then conquering the next half stone hurdle. I can't say I have worked out what I want for my next treat though.

18st - 252lb + chart.


A nice surprise for me this afternoon when I woke up was the loss of another pound in weight. The strange thing is I am still totally bunged up and frankly don't even feel that good inside like I have IBS or something. I think when I start my days off I am going to eat nothing but veggies for a couple of days to try and clear me out a bit.

253lb - 18st 1lb!

Well I am chuffed to bits about this. I am so bunged up at present and for the first time in quite a while I am feeling hungry a lot so yesterday I ate my full alloted alowance of 1800 calories (it may have even been 1900 or so). I guess if you just slog on day after day the weight will eventually go bit by bit.

Back down to 18st 2lb

I really look forward to my treat days but boy do you practically wipe a week away paying for them I have been back to 18st 2lb for a couple of days now but when you consider that, that amounts to nearly five days at the same weight it shows what a heavy price you pay for pigging out for even one meal. I am back on night shifts as well tonight so that will not nelp matters. It would be nice to lose at least one pound by the weekend though.

Back to 18st 3lb

One of the big problems of treat days of course is that I pay for them heavily afterwards. After tucking into my bucket of KFC and quaffing several pints of fine ale I put on two pounds in weight. (I suspect much of that is just debris sat near my rear end refusing to come out though). One pound of it is already gone and hopefully the next pound will go in a day or two and I will be back then to my pre treat weight. Incidentally I did a spot of clothes shopping yesterday. I have dropped two sizes in trousers and a size in my shirts. It will be nice to be able to take two steps again with out having to hitch up my jeans all the time!

Chart

Just thought it would be worth updating you on what I am eating at the moment. I have tended to change it around a little every few weeks so that I don't get bored of eating the same things time and time again. I am still eating a lot of Stews and porridge mind you but I have also re-introduced a lot of sanwiches and toast based meals into my daily diet. A typical day at work for instance now will be a bowel of porridge with bannana and blueberries for breakfast and a triple decker ham or sardine sandwich for lunch plus an apple or something as a snack later on. When I get home I will then have something like smoked salmon with low fat cream cheese on toast or a bacon medalion and egg sandwich. It really does not feel like dieting sometimes but each of these meals is always kept to around the 500 calorie level.

254lb - 18st 2lb

Well I have finished my four 12 hour day shifts now so I actually have the time to weigh myself and post on here! I am very pleased to see that I have dropped another pound in weight so I am now over half way to acheiving my target weight loss of 5st.

Today is also my treat day. I decided to have it today rather than last week as I actually have the time to saver and enjoy it today and I really wouldn't of what with work and home as it is at present.

255lb - 18st 3lb


Not sure how it happened or even when as due to getting up at 5am yesterday meant that I forgot to weigh myself. But somehow I have managed to lose 3lb in the last 48 hours. Work has been tough admittedly and I have done an awful lot of running around but even taking that into account dropping that much weight is staggering to say the least and I would not be at all suprised if my scales were playing tricks with me. I will enjoy it well it lasts though.

258lb - 18st 6lb + A reduction in my measurements.


Well two bonuses today. I have hit my target for the week very early indeed and that takes the pressure off me for when I am at work, which is always a difficult time for me weight loss wise especially on day shifts. Getting up at 5am is such a bitch. For instance today I got up at 8.30 startet blogging and 08.50 and will be down for breakfast by 9.30 easy peasy compared to being at work.

I finally got the Mrs to re-measure me this morning too. My chest has gone down to 48" and my waist to 47". The reality of the waist measurement though is that I have dropped nearly two sizes in trousers.

259lb - 18st 7lb


Well I was shocked to say the least when I weighed myself this morning. The scales wavered back and forth and just as I thought they had settled on the 8lb mark they dropped to 7lb (which I guess means it is by a very narrow margin). I only need to lose one more pound this week now and I have hit my target for the week.

18st 8lb - 260lb


Well I am pleased as punch to see off last week with another pound dropped. Not sure it will last even until tomorrow though as we had a roast dinner for lunch and it must of been at least 1400 calories. I kind of planned ahead though by making sure I had a brisk walk about at a car boot sale this morining and by only having tea and toast for breakfast . Lunch was a late one so I doubt I will eat again for the rest of the day. Hopefully I will have negated the impact of this giant meal by doing all these things.

Note that this chart has been done from the start of my diet back in june so it looks a bit different to normal.

261lb - 18st 9lb


I lost another pound yesterday which I am more than pleased about. Nothing has gone today though and as I have had to take some pain killers and dylcofenic for some pains I am having I don't expect to lose anything tomorrow as the dylcofenic bungs me up rather badly. All in all though I am more than pleased with my progress. I had a gander at my most recent photos compared to my first set of photos yesterday and although it is hard to see much difference in the front view pictures I can definately see change in the profile pictures. My double chin is vanishing too which is great news.

Chart - 18st 10lb

Two stone lost!!!

Well that is my second milestone reached. I have now lost two full stone since I started this diet. The funny thing is food wise yesterday was an odd one. I had a bacon and egg sarnie for breakfast at around 09.30 but this lasted me until I got peckesh at around 15.00 then I just snacked on fruit. My timing went all wrong for my evening meal and by the time I sorted out the kids I was late putting on my stew so ended up just eating four slices of toast.

Chart - 263lb

And the weight drops at last.

Well since my last post I have lost a further 2lb. the big suprise with the last pound was that on Sunday I had a roast pork dinner with cauliflower cheese and roast potatoes. To be fair that is pretty much all I ate on Sunday but it does show you that you can have the odd treat as long as you gut back in other areas.
