Chart


Weird looking thing that it is these days.

18st 13lb (265lb)

Well yesterday I dropped a pound down to 266lb and today I have dropped another to 265lb. Effectively it has taken almost a week to pay for last Saturdays indulgence. A lost week as it were. Kind of depressing when you think the best part of the day was watching the kids play in the sand not eating supermarket food and drinking very average tasting cider.

Looks like I have hit another plateau doesn't it? On the plus side I now have a rowing machine safely installed in my den so that may start to help things along a little.

The slow march back to last weeks weight.

Oh well I have dropped a pound back to 19st. It is still galling that I should put so much on just due to one days excess. Will I be back to 18st 13lb by tomorrow?

Chart - 19st 1lb

Crikey a day at the seaside costs big time!

The weather at home was blistering so my Mrs insisted we drive to Weston-Super-Mare for the day. I argued it was a bad idea to do this on a Saturday but eventually caved. The upshot was it took us 4 hours to drive 90 miles and 1 hour after we hit the beach it started raining. As is usual on day trips out we ate and drank more than we should. I thought I had rained it in compared to normal but I got a shock when I weighed myself this morning. I have put on 2LB!! Can't a guy take a break for even one day? One small Ben & Jerry's and three pints of Cider and I am ruined .

Chart - 290lb down to 265lb

18st 13lb (265lb) Double woot!

Ding, ding, ding. I am chuffed to bits with this because I was worried I ate to much yesterday. I know I have not mentined what food I am getting down my beak lately (making these posts a bit boring I suspect) well the truth is at work I eat pretty much what I have from the start of the diet ie stews cereals and fruit. At home it is more varied but yesterday for instance I know I ate near to the top of my limit. For breakfast I had Weetabix and fruit (2 1/2 biscuits + Banana + Strawberries + Skimmed milk. For lunch I had a huge plate of cooked tinned tomatoes two fried egges a small can of beans 2 slices of toast and some fried mushrooms. I say fried but the reality is it is a non stick pan with just a squirt of that specialy spray stuff. For supper I ate a Tuna sandwich. The tuna had a dob of low fat mayo and a dob of low fat salad cream mixed in it to help with texture and flavour. I think I topped the 1800 calorie mark yesterday.

19st 3lb - After my treats!

Well I gorged myself on my 1/2 stone treats last night a full bottle of (hic) wine and a bag of chips. The Mrs spoiled it a bit by moaning and bitching all night but that is par for the course whenever I do some thing for myself. Anyway suffice is to say that when I weighed myself this morning last nights excess seems to have done me no harm. I have stayed the same weight. Roll on the next half stone. What shall I treat myself to then KFC, Big mack and fries? I will know what my cravings are nearer the time I guess.

No longer class two obese

Now that my BMI is under 35 (34.5) I am technically no longer class two obese. Class one is hardly something to be proud of I guess but all the same it is pretty good. I have been a bit slow getting my latest pictures sorted but I have at least measured myself now. All the measurements are the same as they were a fortnight ago apart from the important waist measurement. I have dropped another inch to 48 1/2".

19st 3lb - Another 2lb lost


I have been so busy the last couple of days I have hardly had the time to post here or eat properly (not something I am proud of as I may go into starvation mode). The end result is though that I have lost a further 2lb this brings me down to 269lb (I think).

Chart


Looking back on my records every now and again when using a conversion chart from stone to pounds it looks like occasionally it has given the wrong total. The stone weights are always correct though.

19st 5lb - The yo-yo is back!

You couldn't make it up could you? I have according to my scales lost 2lb since yesterday. Food wise I had a slightly different breakfast today. I had a bread craving (Weetabix and fruit gets boring after a while) this morning so had poached eggs on toast. Sadly one of the eggs burst in the water so it did not look or eat as well as it could of.

For the last for days I have pretty much eaten the same thing everyday. When you work 12 hours shifts it is just easier to do stuff in advance that you know will be filling and easy to eat. For me that was 4 Weetabix with Strawberries and Raspberries + skimmed milk followed by a fish salad for lunch and home made chicken and wood pigeon stew for dinner.

Not much to say today as I am rushed off my feet with work other than to say no change on the old weight front. Not that I really expected much at the moment. i am still plugging away though on about 1650 calories per day at present.

Chart

This chart should be looking a little better than it actually is of course. Bah humbug.

Good nes, bad news

The good news is I have now dropped another pound. I am now down to 19st 6lb. The bad news is my chart is innacurate I don't know when I went wrong but it looks like I can't convert pounds to stones very well. It turns out that I am now 274lb ( I had thought I had dropped to 272lb). The main thing is I guess that I am still losing weight regardless of how I log it down.

I am stil cheesed off though.

Back to normal

Oh well my good run could not last could it? Apparently I have now put on a pound! I am back up to 19st 8lb (274lb) I suspect this is yet again bodily fluids more than anything. God knows what the next few days are going to produce as I have to be up at 05.00 hrs each morning and then work 12 hour shifts.

The chat is working again!


It was my mistake I transposed a month and so it looked topsy turvy.

Shocked

This is as strange as the 6 day plateau of last week. I have lost another pound! I am now down to 19st 7lb (273lb). I can't think why exactly. I was busy putting up shelves and stuff so only ate three very boring meals i.e cereals + fish on toast (tinned fish is for me an essential in the cupboard for busy no time to think aboout food days).

Fish & Chips

Well last night I gorged myself on fish & chips mushy peas and bread and butter washed down with two cans of cider. Yum, Yum. I should point out that my Mrs moaned all the way through it and my boy nicked half my chips so it was not a total pleasure but it was near enough.

I expected to have a shock when I did my morning weigh in this morning and a shock is what I got. Can you believe I have actually lost another pound? I now weigh in at 19st 8lb (274lb) my chart is still messed up at the moment so I am unable to upload it but when I do I am sure it is going to look great.

Dropped another pound

I seem to have messed up my chart some how. I think I got confused with the American system of pputting the month before the date and now my chart looks insane. Sadly I can't alter it for a day or two so I won't post it until I can make it look normal. The good news is I have managed to drop another pound in weight. At present I weigh in at 275lb (19st 9lb). Today is also my treat day. It has been delayed for four days so I am gagging to pig out on my selected treats.

Blast it!

Working nights seems to be causing its usual problems. According to my scales I have put on a pound! I am pretty sure this all about the time of day I way myself and the retention of bodily fluids though.

Can't complain abot this but I am for the record still 19st 10lb (276lb) today. If last week is anything to go by I will be stuck at this weight for a few days now that I am back on my night shifts. To be honest as long as I lose a solid 2lb per week, week in week out I shall be more than happy.

At last I am now down to 19st 10lb (276lb). Although the last few days have been a nightmare what with what seemed like the worlds longest plateau I have at last reached my first proper milestone. Sadly I start my night shifts tonight so my one stone treat will have to wait untill early next week, Doh!

Typical day's food

As you can see I am not exactly eating like a pig at the moment.Muscles on toast
Poached eggs on toast
Weetabix & Fruit.

I usually have a couple of apples for snacks and a couple of cups of tea (with milk) per day to. The weight is still not shifting though.

It's past a joke now

Still stuck at 278lb. I have no idea what I am doing wrong. I am eating around 1500 calories per day and have been for the last 6 days.
